It's difficult to convey the passions that can be aroused by the melodies, songs and dances of the remote cold lands of northern Europe.

These passions can be even more powerful if we take a journey through from the past, from the music of yore, and step by step arrive to the music of today, the music of folk-revival which, more than in any other European areas, has drawn from the past with fitting style and farseeing projects.

There is still room for memories and musical research in a world like today's, where the present, past and future so skilfully blend together.

It is these memories that unite the sounds of instruments such as the violin or the nickelharp to the charm of the voices and traditional dances of the world of Scandinavian culture, the polska, hambo, scottish and hopsa.
